Profitus Surpasses €11 Million in May, Becoming a Leader in the EU

Profitus, a leading crowdfunding platform specializing in real estate projects, has achieved a remarkable milestone by raising €11.047 million in May. This exceptional achievement not only solidifies Profitus' position as the frontrunner in Lithuania but also makes it the European Union's (EU) largest crowdfunding platform for real estate projects in terms of monthly funding.

Viktorija Cijunskyte, the founder and CEO of Profitus, attributes this success to a combination of strategic initiatives, including a revamped platform, collaborations with investment funds to finance projects (such as a €6.3 million contribution for the renovation of a hotel in Vilnius' Naujamiestis district), and an expanding presence in Latvia, Estonia, and Spain.

"Our investor base is primarily composed of individuals, which is at the heart of crowdfunding," Cijunskyte explains. "The average investment in May was close to €900, with the largest investment from a single individual reaching €300,000. Companies are also increasingly investing through our platform, with the largest investment in May exceeding €530,000."

"We are intensifying our operations in Spain and will soon allow Spanish residents to invest," Cijunskyte continues. "Given our goal of becoming a European leader, we are confident that we can surpass May's results this year. We have already achieved this goal in the segment of real estate crowdfunding platforms, and now we can set our sights on the next step."

In May, Profitus distributed over €340,000 in interest to investors, with an average annual return of 10.59%. A total of 50 projects were funded last month, with 10 in Latvia and 3 in Estonia. The average amount raised per project was €235,000, and 9,799 investors actively participated in May.

Founded in 2018, Profitus has grown into a thriving community of nearly 38,000 investors. With over €177 million raised in almost six years, investors have earned more than €10.2 million. The platform operates in four countries: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Spain.
